Topic: Kamikaze pilots

Kamikaze pilots were not a part of Black history specifically. The term "kamikaze" refers to Japanese pilots during World War II who deliberately crashed their planes into enemy targets, typically ships. These pilots were part of the Japanese military and their actions were known for their extreme self-sacrifice and dedication to their country.

While Black servicemen and women served in various capacities during World War II, including in segregated units like the Tuskegee Airmen, they did not participate in kamikaze attacks as those were carried out by Japanese pilots. The contributions and experiences of Black individuals during World War II are an important part of history, but they are separate from the actions of kamikaze pilots.
